What is SND?
SND is an acronym for the Special Needs Directory. It is a volunteer group that maintains an active listing of all the related disability service providers in the greater San Francisco Bay Area which includes the counties of Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, San Mateo, San Benito, Alameda and Napa.

Who are SND members?
SND is made up of various individuals that actively serve in the area of developmental disabilities as either direct providers or parents. The primary service categrories covered by SND include the following:
- Early Start - (0-6 yrs) Early Intervention & Preschool
- NPS School - (3-22 yrs) Special Education Non-Public Schools
- ILS - (18+ yrs) Independent Living Services (ILS)
- SLS - (18+ yrs) Supported Living Services (SLS)
- Residential - (3-59 yrs) Residential Living Programs
- Adult Day - (22+ yrs) Adult Day Programs
- Vocational - (18+ yrs) Supported Employment & Vocational Programs
